So here it is, my first blog post for the Red Velvet Closet. With Delhi still buzzed with the 5 day fashion marathon, what better way to start than to bring back all the glamorous nostalgia from Wills India Fashion Week AW13.

Charu Parashar's AW13 collection is blingy with a hint of fur here and there and a lot of prints inspired by the egyptian palaces. Its an evening collection with some fantastic pieces. Virtues takes us back to the 18th century with the Nawabs of Oudh showcasing handblock prints and mashru fabrics. Royal, elegant with classy cuts. Rehane's collection is subtle and feminine. The color palette is pastels with splashes of occasional color. The collection didn't win my heart but I did like nude and beige collection.
